Fresh mulch not only enhances your landscape's appearance but also protects your plants and reduces weed growth. We offer premium mulch installation and ongoing bed maintenance.

We properly prepare your beds before installation, ensuring clean edges and weed-free surfaces. Our team applies mulch at the optimal depth for plant health and weed suppression.
Mulch is one of the highest-payoff things you can do for a landscape in eastern Nebraska. A proper 2-to-3-inch layer insulates roots against our temperature swings, holds soil moisture through dry July stretches, and blocks the sunlight weed seeds need to germinate. Thinner than that and weeds push through; piled deeper — or mounded against trunks in the classic "mulch volcano" — and it suffocates the plants it's supposed to protect. Depth and placement are most of the craft.
Our installs start with prep, because mulch over weeds is just a head start for the weeds. We clear the beds, pull or treat what's growing, and cut a clean spade edge so the bed holds its shape and the mulch stays where it belongs instead of washing onto the lawn in a summer thunderstorm.
Most customers refresh mulch once a year in late spring; beds in full sun or under downspouts may want a top-up in fall. We can also maintain your beds through the season — weeding, re-edging, and keeping everything looking as sharp as the day it went in.
Serving Bellevue, Papillion, La Vista and the greater Sarpy County area since 2014.
Premium hardwood mulch is our standard — it looks clean, breaks down slowly, and feeds the soil as it does. If you have a color or material preference (dyed brown/black, cedar), tell us when you request your estimate and we'll price it out.
Plan on refreshing beds annually. Hardwood mulch loses about an inch of depth a year to decomposition, and its color fades over a Nebraska summer. An annual top-up keeps both the weed barrier and the appearance intact.
Usually not — if the existing layer is thin and healthy we install over it to reach the right total depth. If the old material is matted, moldy, or too deep, we'll remove some before installing. We'll tell you which your beds need during the estimate.
